Here is another weeks worth of 9 patch blocks. still a little a head i think.

IT'S "BRASS MONKEY " WEATHER HERE!



well it was quite cold here last night! not sure how cold, but icy cold as there is lots of snow down further in the country.{n.z.} But when i got up this morning the sun was out! so i took a pic of the blue sky as i haven't really seen it properly for a few days. Blackie , my manx cat thought it looked pretty good too!

This is my lovely tree dahlia. It is very fragile looking, usually it gets bashed to bits by the winds. It has just come into flowering this week, It is a lovely lialic colour. The flowers don't last long unfortunatly. They grow quite tall quite quickly from about october to may, that is when they flower. We don't get frosts where we live here in the bush otherwise 'Jack frost ' would get them. Even 'mr bumblebee' flew into the picture right on cue! to this...

9 PATCH QUILT-A-LONG.

I've joined "crazy moms quilt-a-long. one block aday. I am trying to use only scraps. so far, so good. I cut about aweeks worth, then stitch them up so i am organized so far!

THEY JUST SEEM TO MULTIPLY!!

These wee bags just seem to multiply! One is for my mother-inlaw for mothers day. I will put something in it, maybe a voucher so she can buy whatever she likes. hope she likes it. I might have one too.
