MY FIRST EMBROIDERY PROJECT.

I made this sewing bag from a pattern I saw in one of my mags a few years ago now. I t was in 2004 when i stitched it. I taught myself how to embroider from my magazines. I love doing the bullion stitches, I have done quite a few bunnys, they are real cute and don't take long once you get the hang of it. Here is some pics of the bag and scissor keeper.

Tree dahlia flowers

here is my blocks for noahs ark. i am looking forward to the next one.

These are some tree dahlias that i grew. they are huge big flowers that are fragile looking but don't last long and are easy to grow. we usually get bad wind and they get wiped out just before they flower in may. this is a very late one that shouldn't be here now.

My friends

This is my freinds, Fay(left) and marion (right). both are great patchworkers. Marion does all her patchwork by hand! That is cutting out and sewing!! She does beutiful quilts. Perfectly matched and stiched. Her little cottage is filled with Christmas trees all throughout. It is amazing to see! there are real ones but mostly artifical ones all decorated with handmade decorations that she has made herself throughout her lifetime. you have to see it to beleive it. She is known as "the christmas tree lady". When I find my photos i will try to post them so you can see. my sister pam has seen them.
