A BIT OF A VIEW.

well now i have a bit of view from the new deck. I could't really see much in the distance, but now we can see some more of the bush thanks to being up abit higher. wayne and conor have been building the deck. It is looking good so far but have a bit to do, railings etc.....Poppy loves it,

This is a cute little bag i made. It is a lazy girl design, look on there blog. It is quick and easy to make. It will make a nice gift for someone, maybe put a few goodies in too!

SOME THINGS I MADE.

These are some little tags I made from a magazine. I think they look good just hung on things like baskets,bottles ,containers and dried arrangements look good and serve a useful purpose. Do you like the half-eaten gingerbreadman?? I thought he was cute so had to make one.

THE 'T-PEE'.

Glenys's 60th birthday.

Last saturday we went to glenys's place for her 60th birthday. She has a 10acre block of land and this is a site for her t-pee. they set it up for special occasions. All the guys put up taupalins just in case it rained. They are all musicians of some sort. there are drummers, guitars, electric and acoustic, even a flute!! It was a good night all round. Next anniversary weekend we are going to have another get together just locals this time. The good thing is we don't have to worry about drinking and driving as we just take a shortcut throiugh the bush! You just have to make sure you don't get lost in the bush coz it is really dark in there!! hee! hee!

Lost warrior- Bethells beach.


Earlier this week we heard the news that Sonny Fai .was missing presummed drowned at Bethells beach. It is the next beach around the coast of where i live at Anawhata . Between Piha and bethells . We are big warriors fans, He was to be one of them this season, but is gone. very sad for everyone. bethells beach is ruggered, it claimed the life of our freind micheal beresford last year. He was rock fishing and got washed off, never to be seen again. so far they haven't found sonny fi's body, probably won't.

This is my brother bruce's house . He lives in brisbane and has started decorating his house for the last 2 years. It must take quite a bit effort to get up there and set everything up, he has 3 sons so they get the job! Heaps of cars go past" looking". the round spinners he made himself and look really neat when lite up.
